How it works
How do you turn an Italian video into Spanish subtitles?
To translate an Italian video to Spanish, drop it on this page. The Italian is transcribed, every line is put into Spanish, and the Spanish is cut into subtitles that follow the Italian speech. Download the Spanish SRT when it is done.

How cleanly is Italian speech picked up?
Very cleanly: in our language test, Italian recordings were transcribed with very few slips. That matters for subtitles, because the Spanish is translated from the transcript, so a clean Italian transcript gives Spanish lines that match what was said.
Why do some Spanish lines say “ha sido” rather than “fue”?
The Spanish follows the Italian tense. “È stato battuto” became “ha sido derrotado”, where a Latin American human translation said “fue derrotado”. Both are correct; for viewers in Latin America, “fue” usually sounds more natural for a finished event.
Will the Spanish need more room on screen?
No. Ten Italian test sentences came to 1,052 characters and their Spanish to 1,054. The Spanish is laid out anew, 2 lines of up to 42 characters a subtitle, for example “A las 8:46 precisas cayó / el silencio sobre toda la ciudad,”.
Which Spanish words are worth checking?
Look-alikes. Italian and Spanish share many words that look the same, and a few of them mean different things; in one test sentence such a word was carried straight across. Read job, sport and result words against the Italian before publishing.
Other lines stay faithful and a little formal: “il primo velivolo” (the first aircraft) became “la primera aeronave”, where everyday Spanish would say “el primer avión”.

FAQ
Questions about Spanish subtitles for Italian videos
Is the Italian to Spanish video translator free?
Yes. Up to 3 videos a day, 30 minutes each, with no account. Every download is included: Spanish SRT and VTT, Italian subtitles and text.
What if my Italian video is longer than that?
The first 30 minutes are transcribed and translated, and the result says so. Cut a long video into parts with any editor and run each part on its own.
Can I have Italian and Spanish in the same subtitle?
Not from this page, which gives two separate files. Download the Italian SRT from Original, then run it through the Spanish subtitle translation page, which offers a bilingual SRT with both lines.
Will the video be dubbed in Spanish?
No. The page makes Spanish subtitles; it adds no voice and doesn’t touch the video file.
Is my Italian video uploaded?
No. The browser takes the sound out on your device and sends short pieces to a cloud AI transcription service; the Italian text then goes to a cloud AI translation service. Each discards what it gets, and the picture is never sent.
