How it works
How do you add Russian subtitles to a Spanish video?
To translate a Spanish video to Russian, drop it on this page. The Spanish speech is transcribed, each line is translated into Russian, and the Russian is cut into subtitles on the Spanish timing. Then download the Russian SRT for your player, editor or channel.

Download in Cyrillic
Russian SRT or VTT, saved as UTF-8 text. The Spanish subtitles are under Original.
How do names look in Russian subtitles?
Written in Cyrillic and declined like Russian words. Raonic became “Раоником” after “обыгран” and Piquet Jr. “Пике-младшего”, as Russian grammar wants. Brand names stayed in Latin letters: “Six Flags St. Louis”. Check that well-known names match the spelling your viewers expect.
Do Russian subtitles fit where the Spanish did?
Yes, with room to spare: ten Spanish test sentences came to 1,062 characters, the Russian to 988. The Russian fills subtitles of up to 2 lines of 42 characters, read at 17 characters a second, such as “Ровно в 8:46 утра город / погрузился в тишину,”.
How are times and measurements written?
In Russian form. “8:46 a. m.” became “8:46 утра”, the speed “105 миль в час (165 км/ч)” with Cyrillic units, and “en el año 2009” became “в 2009 году”. Nothing needs converting before Russian viewers read it.

Do the subtitles use the letter ё?
Not always. Our test wrote “самолет” where the human Russian translation wrote “самолёт”. Both spellings are correct Russian, and print often writes е for ё; if your style keeps ё, search the SRT and add it.

FAQ
Questions about Russian subtitles for Spanish videos
Is the Spanish to Russian video translator free?
Yes. Subtitle 3 videos a day, up to 30 minutes each, with no account and no watermark. Russian SRT and VTT and the Spanish subtitles are included.
Will viewers be addressed as вы or ты?
From English, the Russian route used вы every time. Our Spanish test lines didn’t address anyone, so if your video speaks to viewers as tú, read the Russian and choose ты where it should sound closer.
Does it make a Russian voice-over?
No. The page writes Russian subtitles and never changes your video. Add the SRT as a track, or burn it in with a video editor.
Can I put the Spanish subtitles on the video too?
Yes. Switch to Original and download the Spanish SRT, built from the same speech. Upload both, and each viewer picks a language.
Is my video uploaded?
No. The browser takes the sound out on your device. Short pieces of it go to a cloud AI transcription service and the Spanish text to a cloud AI translation service, which discard it; the picture never leaves your computer.
