How it works
How do you translate a Korean recording into Spanish?
Drop the recording here to translate Korean audio to Spanish. The page listens for Korean, writes each short piece in Hangul, then translates the transcript into Spanish a few lines at a time. Each Spanish line carries the time of the Korean it came from.
- 1
Add the Korean recording
A call with a partner in Seoul, a seminar, an interview or a voice message saved as a file.
- 2
Hangul first, then Spanish
Transcribed in Korean, translated into Spanish. Up to 30 minutes a recording.
- 3
Keep the Spanish
Copy it, or download TXT or Word; Original shows the Korean.
What happens to Korean sentence endings in Spanish?
They fold into ordinary Spanish. Korean endings carry politeness and even hearsay: “…때문이라고 한다” (it is said to be because of) came back as “Se dice que…”. Formal 습니다, polite 해요 and plain 다 endings all become neutral Spanish, where only tú or usted remains.
How well is Korean speech written down first?
Well, in Hangul with spaces between words; names and rare words are the likeliest slips. Our transcription test heard 아이티 (Haiti) as “IT” and 오늘날 (nowadays) as 어느 날 (one day). A misheard word stays misheard in the Spanish, so check names and key terms.
Numbers mostly come back as digits, but a date read out in full came back in words (천 구백 사십년 팔월 십 오일), which the Spanish then has to turn back into a date. Read dates against the recording.
How do names in Hangul come back in Spanish?
By sound, unless the Latin spelling is given. Our test sentences carried it in brackets, 라오니치(Raonic), so “Raonic” came back exactly. A spoken recording has no brackets: the transcript holds only the Hangul, and the Spanish spells names from it. Place names went well: “San Luis, Misuri”.
Does the Spanish add what the Korean left out?
No, it follows the Korean. One test sentence gave a storm’s speed only in kilometres per hour, and the Spanish kept only “165 km/h”, though the original report also had miles. It keeps the Korean order of ideas too, so judge it against what was said.
How natural is the Spanish from Korean?
Clear, in ten test sentences with a professional Spanish version beside them, and about twice as many characters as the Korean. “파면되었다” became “fue destituido”, the right sense. Two lines:

FAQ
Questions about translating Korean audio into Spanish
Is the Korean to Spanish audio translator free?
Yes, with no sign-up. 3 recordings a day, each up to 30 minutes; the Spanish, the Korean transcript and the downloads are included.
Will the Spanish use tú or usted?
One or the other, chosen from context: Korean shows politeness in its sentence endings rather than in a word for “you”. Polite talk with a client usually suits usted, friends tú; check that each pair of speakers keeps one form.
Can I get the Spanish as a Word document?
Yes. The Word file starts with the recording’s length and “Translated: Korean → Spanish”, then the Spanish paragraphs and their times.
What if the speakers switch to Spanish or English?
This page writes every part down as Korean. For a recording that mixes languages, use the main audio translator with the spoken language on Detect automatically.
Does it name the speakers?
No. The Spanish transcript has words and times without names. NoteOwl on a Mac labels each speaker.
Is my recording stored?
No. Your browser sends short pieces of the sound to a cloud AI transcription service, then the Korean text to a cloud AI translation service, and each discards it. NoteOwl keeps nothing.
