How it works

How do you add Azerbaijani subtitles to an English video?

To translate an English video to Azerbaijani, drop the video here. The English speech is transcribed, each line goes into Azerbaijani, and the subtitles are timed to when the words are spoken. Download the SRT or VTT and upload it with the video.

  1. 1

    Choose the English video

MP4, MOV, MKV or WebM. Your browser reads only its sound.

  2. 2

    Azerbaijani subtitles appear

Transcribed, translated and timed, for the first 30 minutes of the video.

  3. 3

    Save SRT or VTT

Switch to Original for English subtitles on the same timing.

How do numbers and dates look in Azerbaijani subtitles?

Azerbaijani adds case endings to numbers after a hyphen: 3:30 p.m. became “saat 15:30-da”, and the year “2026-cı ildə”. Figures take a decimal comma and a space between thousands, as in “6,5 faiz” and “1 250 dollara”.

The meeting is on October 16, 2026, at 3:30 p.m.

The price went up by 6.5 percent to $1,250.

Wow! That’s amazing!

Do Azerbaijani subtitles fit like English ones?

Very nearly: Azerbaijani ran about the same length as English in our test. The subtitles are laid out after translating, at most 2 lines of about 42 characters, read at 17 characters a second, and a number written with spaces such as 1 250 stays on one line.

Azerbaijani builds long words from suffixes, and lines only break between words, so a word such as keçiriləcək is never split.

How do the subtitles address viewers?

Respectfully, with siz: “Please sit down, sir” became “Lütfən, oturun, cənab”, and “Thank you all for coming today” became “Bugün gəldiyiniz üçün hamınıza təşəkkür edirəm”. A channel with a casual voice can change the forms to sən in the SRT.

What should you check before publishing?

Weekdays first: Thursday is “Cümə axşamı”, the eve of Friday, so compare days and dates with the English. Then names, which keep their English spelling, and any figure viewers will act on, such as a price or a time.

How did English to Azerbaijani do in our test?

It came in just under the dedicated translation system we compared it with, within the margin we set. On screen that means readable Azerbaijani subtitles that are worth one careful pass before you publish.

FAQ

Questions about Azerbaijani subtitles for English videos

Is the English to Azerbaijani video translator free?

Yes. 3 videos a day, up to 30 minutes of each, with no account and no watermark; Azerbaijani and English subtitles are both included.

Does it dub the video into Azerbaijani?

No. It produces Azerbaijani subtitles and leaves the video and its sound unchanged.

Are the subtitles in Latin or Arabic script?

Latin, the alphabet of the Republic of Azerbaijan; every line of our test came back that way.

Can I publish English subtitles alongside?

Yes. Switch to Original and download the English SRT, then upload it as a second track next to the Azerbaijani.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The sound is separated from the picture in your browser; short pieces of it go to a cloud AI transcription service and the English text to a cloud AI translation service, which discard them. The picture stays on your device.

Do the subtitles show who is talking?

No. Only the spoken words appear, without speaker names.
