How it works
How do you add Bulgarian subtitles to an English video?
To translate an English video to Bulgarian, drop it on the page. Its sound is transcribed in English, every line is translated into Bulgarian, and the Cyrillic text is timed as subtitles to the speech. Download the Bulgarian SRT and add it where you publish.

Choose the English video
MP4, MOV, MKV or WebM. Only its sound is sent; the picture stays with you.

Download SRT or VTT
The English subtitles are under Original if you want both.
How do Bulgarian subtitles sit on screen?
Comfortably. Bulgarian ran about the same length as English in our test, and each Cyrillic subtitle gets at most 2 lines of about 42 characters, broken between words and shown long enough to read at about 17 characters a second.
The Bulgarian is cut into subtitles after it has been translated, so it follows Bulgarian sentences and the speaker’s pauses. In our test, translation from English into Bulgarian scored level with the dedicated translation system we compared it with.
Will viewers see English names in Cyrillic?
Yes. Bulgarian spells foreign names in Cyrillic, and the subtitles do too: “Dr. Patel and Maria Lopez will lead the session” became “Д-р Патель и Мария Лопес ще водят сесията”. For a brand or a channel name viewers know in Latin letters, put that spelling back.
How do prices, dates and times appear in Bulgarian subtitles?
The Bulgarian way: a decimal comma, “г.” after the year, the 24-hour clock with “ч.”, and the day before the month. Our test wrote 1,250 as 1250.
- The price went up by 6.5 percent to $1,250.
- Bulgarian subtitleЦената се повиши с 6,5 процента до 1250 долара.
- The meeting is on October 16, 2026, at 3:30 p.m.
- Bulgarian subtitleСрещата е на 16 октомври 2026 г. в 15:30 ч.

How do the subtitles speak to Bulgarian viewers?
Politely, with вие: “Can you send me the report before Friday?” became “Можете ли да ми изпратите доклада преди петък?”. Exclamations sound natural too: “Wow! That’s amazing!” became “Уау! Това е невероятно!”. A channel that talks casually can switch lines to ти.

FAQ
Questions about Bulgarian subtitles for English videos
Is the English to Bulgarian video translator free?
Yes. 3 videos a day, up to 30 minutes each, with no account and no watermark. You get Bulgarian SRT and VTT and the English subtitles.
Does it make a Bulgarian voice track?
No. The output is Bulgarian subtitles; your video and its English sound stay as they are.
How do I put Bulgarian subtitles on YouTube?
In YouTube Studio, go to Subtitles, select the video, add Bulgarian as a language and upload the SRT with timing. It then appears in the subtitle menu for viewers.
Will Cyrillic display in my video player?
In any modern player, yes. The subtitle files hold the Bulgarian text as Unicode, which players and platforms such as YouTube display directly.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Your browser takes the sound out of the video; short pieces go to a cloud AI transcription service and the English text to a cloud AI translation service, which keep nothing. The picture is never sent.
Can I get the English subtitles too?
Yes. Switch to Original and save the English SRT, with the same timing, for viewers who prefer English.
